Since our book feature this month concerns horror stories inspired by music, I asked a few of our favourite writers what they listen to when they create.
Brian Keene (The Rising, Dark Hollow)
I tend to put together playlists that embody the atmosphere of whatever I’m working on at the moment. My current novel-in-progress, The Complex, has a very diverse cast of characters who are engaged in a paranoid, violent, and occasionally comical fight for their lives amidst a setting perhaps best typified by The Trailer Park Boys.
